Install is simple.
Mount the lockbox on an exterior wall near your garage door (indoor mounting is also possible). Setup takes minutes—not a renovation.

Can I keep charging private for guests only?
Yes. Toggle private mode and share an access code with guests.
Can I open the box myself?
Yes—hosts have a key for anytime access.
How do guests start charging?
They reserve in the app, arrive within the window, and unlock via Bluetooth to access the cable.
How am I paid?
Your host balance is credited when a session ends. Withdrawals are available once funds clear (weekly).
Can I set different prices for guests vs the public?
Yes. You can set private vs public rates, and also peak/off-peak pricing.
What if a guest forgets to return the cable properly?
Support can help resolve issues. Clear instructions (and the Host Kit signage) reduce this.
Do you warranty the charger itself?
No—EV Charge Me does not warranty the charging source provided by the host.
Do I need insurance?
Yes—hosts are required to have homeowners insurance.
What if something doesn't work when a guest arrives?
Guests can report the issue in-app. If an active unit doesn't work, their next charge is free.
